(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Ever since the Jan. 6, 2021 riots occurred at the U.S. Capitol building, the radical left has been doing their best to spin the whole event, where one protester was shot and killed by local authorities and several others died as the result of health conditions, was some kind of “insurrection” to overthrow the U.S. government.
It was a riot where a few folks who attended a rally from President Trump earlier in the day, got a little too rowdy and out of control. This was due to a massive swell of passion and desperation to convince Congress to allow several states to fully review the results from the ballots that came from the presidential election before deciding to just hand over the White House to Joe Biden.
This is a strategy that got both a lot of support and a lot of condemnation among folks in the legal community, however, ever since then, Americans have come to discover that there were indeed multiple improper outside influences on the election results which likely did sway things from Trump to Biden.
According to WND, “Those include that Mark Zuckerberg handed out $420 million to influence local election officials, who used the money essentially to set up Democrat get-out-the-vote offices, legacy and social media suppressed accurate and damaging reports about the Biden family’s international business schemes, and various election officials simply ignored their own laws about mail-in ballots.”
Radical Democrats were furious that anyone would dare to question the election results that came out of the huge investment that was made by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, immediately citing the riot as evidence that the events were nothing more than a second Civil War.
“They wanted everyone associated arrested and held without bond, which they mostly got. They wanted Republicans in Congress who expressed concern about the election results barred from holding office, which they mostly aren’t getting,” the WND report stated.
And now the radical left, desperate to continue to weave a narrative of conservatives being insurrectionists and to use the folks arrested during the Jan. 6 riots as an example to keep people from daring to take a stand against their schemes, a report from American Greatness has revealed they are threatening those taken into custody for the riots with life in prison.
Julie Kelly stated in the report that federal prosecutor Kathryn Rakoczy said “The United States takes the position that the most analogous offense to seditious conspiracy is ‘Treason.'”
“That’s from a letter Kelly obtained, in which the Department of Justice is trying to intimidate Jan. 6 defendants – whose charges generally range from being in a federal building without permission to vandalism – into accepting plea deals,” the report said. “Kelly reported that the focus is a number of defendants who are part of the Oath Keepers organization.”
One of the charges, probably the most serious of them all, involved what they called “seditious conspiracy.”
Three of these individuals have now pleaded guilty, while nine others have fully rejected the coercion. Rakoczy then warned defendants that the government “could seek a life sentence upon conviction.”
Most of these individuals in the various charges have been convicted by juries, however, there is one case that has been dismissed.
The report from the folks over at American Greatness explained that seditious conspiracy is when people “conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof.”
Kelly then went on to explain, “The Oath Keepers are not accused of carrying or using any weapons on January 6; none is charged with directly vandalizing government property. Two ‘stacks’ of Oath Keepers entered the building after the joint session of Congress recessed that afternoon and walked through open doors with police nearby.”
However, Rakoczy insisted on further threatening defendants with a “terrorism enhancement” for any guilty verdict.
“Even as the government charges forward in its attack on protesters, the report said, it has failed to provide all of the documentation and information about the situation that it was legally obligated to give the defendants, including details about a ‘federal informant’ that was in the group,” the report continued.
“The trial for the first of the case defendants now is scheduled for September. They all have been held behind bars without bail, on demands from prosecutors, since early 2021,” WND reported.
One of the defendants that pleaded guilty, Joshua James, is a veteran who was awarded a Purple Heart after he nearly died from a bomb explosion in Iraq. He pleaded guilty under threats from the prosecution involving the elimination of his veterans benefits.
Is that not the definition of evil?
“Several members of the Oath Keepers, who were in Washington DC only to provide protection to speakers at the several organized protests that week, walked into the US Capitol. They were seen taking pictures inside the building,” a commentary said. “Now the Biden Department of Justice, under the direction of Matthew Graves, the US Attorney for the District of Columbia, are threatening those same men with life in prison.”
Totally despicable.
