(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Former Hillary Clinton attorney, Michael Sussmann, is currently standing trial for his alleged abuse of his ties to the FBI back in 2016 when he attempted to use the agency to damage then-candidate Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
Prosecutor Deborah Brittain Shaw explained to a jury in a Washington court that Sussmann was hired by Clinton’s failed 2016 presidential campaign and misled the FBI about who he represented during a Sept. 19, 2016, meeting with the FBI’s top lawyer, then-General Counsel James Baker.
The purpose of the meeting was to tip off the FBI about alleged internet communications between a Russian bank and the Trump organization. These claims eventually were investigated in earnest and found to be completely untrue.
Sussmann told Baker that he was not representing anyone, however, this has also proved to be untrue. Prosecutors alleged that at the time Sussmann was actually working for two clients, the Clinton Campaign and tech executive Rodney Joffe.
What’s even more damning is that after the meeting with Baker, Sussmann billed the Clinton Campaign for his work.
“The defendant’s lie was all part of a bigger plan. … It was a plan to create an October surprise on the eve of the election … to use and manipulate the FBI,” Shaw said.
The prosecutor alleged that Sussmann was trying to “use the FBI as a political tool” and described the case as one of “privilege.”
“Privilege of a lawyer who thought he could lie to the FBI without consequences; privilege of a lawyer who thought that for the powerful, normal rules didn’t apply,” Shaw said in her opening argument on the government’s behalf.
The government argued that Sussmann “bypassed normal channels” in feeding “serious allegations” to the FBI by going to Baker directly.
Authorities indicted Sussmann in September of 2021 as part of an investigation by special counsel John Durham, and he faces charges of one count of lying to the FBI, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecution has been trying to establish that the case goes beyond politics and has tried to address the “proverbial elephant in the room,” according to Fox News.
“Some people have very strong feelings about politics, and about Russia, and many people have strong feelings about Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton,” Shaw said, according to the outlet. “We are not here because allegations involve either.”
“Whether we hate Donald Trump or like him, we have to agree that some things have to be above politics. One of those things is our law enforcement agencies, and the other is truth,” Shaw said.
She certainly is right about that. Now when are we going to do the stolen 2020 election? It’s bad enough that Democrats literally tried to steal the election in 2016 by creating this Russia-collusion hoax and weaponizing the FBI against Trump but they successfully stole the election in 2020 using many, many other tactics.
The point is, they’ve been trying to illegally influence and rig American elections and it’s time for them to be held accountable. No matter what party you affiliate with, we should all be able to agree on that.

That leadership in the FBI was more than willing to perpetuate this “LIE” with Mr. Sussmann . Comey, McCabe, and Strzok were fired from their positions in the FBI . Why were they fired ? For lying, what else ?
