BREAKING: Chris Wallace’s Post-Fox News Career Takes Painful Turn

(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – When Chris Wallace decided to take the leap from a news network that is enjoying massive success and continuing to beat the pants off the competition in order to land with both feet in the dumpster fire that is fake new central, CNN, he originally had a deal for four shows a week on the company’s ill-fated streaming service, CNN+.

Well, that, predictably, went up in smoke when CNN+ crashed and burned within a matter of weeks. If there’s one thing that CNN has mastered, it’s how to fail, a truth we have been treated to on a daily basis for years now.

However, according to The Western Journal, the network announced on Wednesday that Wallace will get one show a week, according to a report from Axios.

The program, which is titled, “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace,” is now set to air on Sunday evenings on CNN, along with streaming platform HBO Max. The title is somewhat ironic because it’s hard to fathom who would indeed want to talk to Chris Wallace.

“Part of the CNN brand is respectful, authentic and impactful interviews and one of the best interviewers in the business is Chris Wallace,” CNN President Chris Licht went on to say, according to a report from The Hill.

“Chris and his team developed an engaging and compelling program that we’re excited to bring to HBO Max and include in our CNN Sunday evening programming,” Licht continued.

Wallace was the host of “Fox News Sunday” for a whopping 18 years before deciding to leave the network back in December. Ratings for CNN+ were disastrous and the whole thing fell apart in just 30 days.

That has to be some kind of record. CNN are three letters that should become synonymous with the word “failure.”

Variety then reported that the new show from Wallace “is intended to serve as part of a new ‘CNN Sunday’ premium block that will also include a new program devoted to longer-form enterprise journalism from CNN correspondents that sounds similar to the concept of CBS News’ ‘60 Minutes.’”

Licht then stated that the new show might include segments from CNN correspondents located in various countries. It might also have “investigations or far flung human dramas,” Licht added.

The announcement concerning the new program was made during an “upfront” presentation to advertisers, according to The Hill.

“During the event, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav indicated that CNN would be focusing less on polarizing personalities and more and reporting the news,” the WJ report said.

“At a time where most news networks are advocacy networks, we at CNN intend to advocate for journalism first,” he then stated.

“Extremes are dominating cable news, we will seek to go a different way,” Licht commented, according to Deadline. “We intend to challenge the traditional philosophy of cable news.”

He then said that the war in Ukraine is one “only we have the resources and commitment to tell.”

Licht then stated that he fully plans to “reimagine” CNN’s morning show, but did not include any further details that might clarify what he actually intends to do.

“We are seeking to be a disruptor of broadcast morning shows in the space, we believe we have the people and resources to do this,” he concluded.
