(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – One of the biggest issues that liberals constantly discuss every opportunity they are given is the destruction of racism and the fulfillment of their dream for complete equality. Yet, when they have an opportunity to actually make progress in this general direction, they often choose a course of action that creates racial division, making more of the very enemy they claim to be trying to vanquish.
A great case in point is the Congressional Black Caucus defending its choice to throw their support behind a white congressional candidate who is running against a black, female Iraq war veteran. So deep is their hatred for conservative thought and ideology they are willing to toss aside their own “principles” and work against a black candidate in order to push the leftist agenda.
A piece published on Todd Starnes blog says that Rep. Frank Mrvan, a Democrat from Indiana, is receiving funding from the CBC and is running against Republican Jennifer-Ruth Green in the race to represent Indiana’s First Congressional District.
“The Daily Caller reports the CBC donated $5,000 to Mrvan’s campaign in late September while showing no support for the black candidate in the race. Despite the lack of support from the CBC, Green raised more than Mrvan in the third quarter, bringing in nearly $1.4 million while the Democrat did not break $950,000, per a Politico report,” Allen Moro wrote on TS.
The CBC then came out and offered up a defense for their choice to support a white candidate over a black one in a statement given to the Daily Caller.
“The Congressional Black Caucus PAC is committed to electing African-Americans and African-American allies to Congress who will fight for our values. Congressman Mrvan understands the importance of a woman’s right to choose and protecting access to healthcare for all people,” the statement says.

The statement continues, “One of his first votes in Congress was for the American Rescue Plan which helped end this pandemic, put workers back on the job, and shored up the kinds of small businesses that are the backbone of Black community. We support him because we know he will continue to fight against racial and economic injustice and ensure Northwest Indiana is able to continue to grow and thrive.”
Green replied Thursday in a post published on Twitter.
“It’s the American people versus the DC politicians and lobbyists. I’m with the American people. The @TheBlackCaucus is with the politicians and lobbyists, and their career politician ally @RepMrvan. #IN01 America’s poorest communities are proof @RepMrvan and @TheBlackCaucus care more about power and helping themselves than helping the people of northwest Indiana. The CBC has a history of working against black candidates simply because they belong to the opposite political party. Back in 2021, the CBC blocked Florida Republican Rep. Byron Donalds from joining the caucus.
After rejecting Donalds, his campaign manager spoke with The Hill and said, “The sad reality is although the Congressman and those in the CBC share the same race, the (R) behind his name disqualifies him from membership today.”
This should go without saying, but alas, we live in times when it’s necessary to state the obvious. You cannot destroy racism by being a racist.

The truth is that evil has never been able to tolerate truth and rightness nor have they been good. The democrats have not been good for anyone except themselves. They have a long history of using people for their own benefit.
