Fairfax Schools Tell Students They’re ‘Privileged’ If They’re A ‘Military Kid,’ Or ‘White,’ ‘Male,’ Or ‘Christian’

(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – The Democrats are speeding towards a brutal defeat in the midterm elections. Americans are downright tired of their obvious agenda to completely destroy America and we’re most definitely sick to death of the forced “wokeness” that has invaded every aspect of American society, especially the public school system.

In Virginia, this ugly and discriminatory “wokeness” reared its ugly head and was met was serious backlash from the community and the country via social media.

The Fairfax County Public Schools’ got caught using a highly disturbing “privilege” bingo where children are awarded points if they are white, male, Christian, live in a military family, employed, or “feel represented in the media.”

According to the Daily Wire, parents were shocked when they saw the “Military Kid” designation and wasted no time pointing out that this so-called “privilege” includes military families having to constantly move and their children not being able to see at least one parent for prolonged periods of time. These “privileged” children also run the risk of losing one of both parents and becoming orphans.

As if the disgusting bingo game wasn’t bad enough, the response from Assistant Superintendent Douglas A. Tyson to outraged parents who complained was downright abhorrent.

“The screen shot you reference comes from an approved FCPS English Curriculum lesson that is centered around students selecting a ‘choice’ test and examining in detail the author’s perspective on a wide-range [sic] of issues. Students are asked, in the lesson, to read critically and think critically about the author’s perspective on several fronts including the author’s privilege that may or may not be present in the work,” the note read.

“Students are then asked independently and self reflectively to juxtapose their thoughts regarding any perceived privilege they think they may have and how they would potentially rewrite portions of the text. Students are not asked or required to report out their self-reflections. This lesson is an adept vehicle to push student thinking to challenge the author’s thoughts/conclusions and to sharpen their ability to critically lead selected texts,” the memo contended.

The exercise is even more deranged when you consider that Fairfax County is heavily employed by the military and is located near the Pentagon.

Parents asserted that even though Fairfax County received supplemental funding for educating military families, many of those families refused to turn in the forms that would award them the extra money because of hatred towards those serving our country or because of frustration with other failures of the school system as a whole.

Fortunately, Virginia now has a new governor and he doesn’t seem to be too keen to continue down the woke path paved by his predecessor.

Governor Glenn Youngkin issued an executive order on his first day in office banning “inherently divisive concepts” that presume “that some students are consciously or unconsciously racist, sexist, or oppressive, and that other students are victims. This denies our students the opportunity to gain important facts, core knowledge, formulate their own opinions, and to think for themselves. Our children deserve far better from their education than to be told what to think.”

Sadly, the order only applies to state curriculum and actions from the Virginia Department of Education and cannot mandate what individual school districts can or can’t teach. However, Youngkin has signaled that schools who push exercises like “privilege” bingo may soon face consequences as it is a violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Social media users absolutely torched the “privilege” bingo:
