How Russia Can Make America Blind, Deaf And Dumb

(Steve Eichler Exclusive, Tea Party CEO) – Did you know that specially built Russian submarines equipped with underwater Super Cable Cutters can be deployed to sever underwater cable connections between the U.S. and the rest of the world?

Trillions of dollars of damage can be done with a single cable cut. Now here’s the really scary part, add multiple cuts to that and the financial damage caused by the destruction of miles of underwater communication cable becomes unfathomable!

Internet, banking, and sensitive data transfer could go dead in a matter of moments with little hope of restoring cable connections without extensive and extremely expensive underwater repair.

Such a cable attack would be considered an act of war but isn’t America teetering on the edge of war right now?

Is the U.S. one step away from having a ‘U.S. Communication Decapitation?’

There is no data on how, or if, the U.S. is protecting these vital communication cables especially in international waters. While redundancy and rerouting of cable signals through alternative cables are possible, the problem is timing.

By the time the attack is completed the Russian Submarine Cable Cutter could already be on its way to its next intended target, thereby making it almost impossible to stop such an ongoing attack.

Right now, the question we really need answered is how many of these Russian Submarine Cable Cutters have been built and deployed. As of now, we do not have an answer for this.

Much of the transatlantic cable network and other cable networks around the world are lying at the bottom of the oceans, some as far down as 2 miles, making it almost impossible for rapid cable repair.

The British publication The Mirror reported, “The Royal Navy has been tracking Russian submarines who have increased their activity “phenomenally” in the last two decades in European waters. Admiral Sir Tony Radakin has warned that Russian underwater activity could threaten the world’s communications.”

The Mirror went on to report, “Admiral Sir Tony Radakin described the undersea cables as “the world’s real information system” explaining that they transmit internet data and that damaging them could declare war. The former head of the Royal Navy, who was recently given the title ‘Sir Tony’ following his knighthood, said there had been a “phenomenal increase in Russian submarine and underwater activity” in the last 20 years.”

Furthermore, many sources have reported Russia has developed unmanned underwater drones carrying high explosives with some even possessing nuclear capability, making the underwater cable networks more vulnerable. Why cut a cable when an explosive detonation can accomplish far more damage with no loss of life and possibly be carried out in secret?

Let’s not forget the Cold War used old technology and antiquated weapons, but after decades of research and development, Russia has no doubt perfected their ability to deal a severe blow to the U.S. communication system. If such an attack were to occur, it could take years to recover.

U.S. Military communication infrastructure is prepared for a range of attacks and includes, but is not limited to the American DSP and Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS, pronounced “sibirs”) systems. The Earth orbit and extremely high, geosynchronous orbit system, along with the U.S. Navy’s UHF-Follow On satellite systems, will be undamaged from a cable destroying attack. Also, the Air Force’s massive Milstar satellite will remain functional.

But what about the rest of us?

If an underwater cable communication attack were to be successful, the argument could be made that the U.S. could reroute signal-streams through satellite communication networks.

While this sounds like good news, it is estimated that over 80% of military communication is already on commercial satellites and will have little effect on the military’ reconnaissance and surveillance, signals intelligence, communications, navigation, and meteorology capabilities. However, this clearly shows a gaping hole in the day-to-day communications that allow U.S. businesses to work.

How will Wall Street fare if U.S. international communication systems are disrupted? How will hardwire bank-to-bank communications and internet communications, including Crypto Currency trading, be impacted? How could America communicate with countries that cannot afford their own satellites and have no infrastructure to facilitate international business other than underwater cable connections?

While the satellite networks and systems, both military and commercial, can be an alternative method of communication many say satellite networks alone cannot facilitate the volume of everyday communications of commercial and individual transmissions!

It is the opinion of many, if such a cable cutting attack was successful, it would change the commercial and personal communication landscape well into the future.

The bright side is America has nothing to worry about because Washington DC is in charge, and they will take care of all of us! Right?

  1. Russia has the means to explode a nuclear weapon in the atmosphere over North America and create an EMP, which could wipeout the electronic grid for the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Such a thermonuclear wipeout would last indefinitely and disable all electric/electronic devices and communication in the USA. This would disrupt satellite communication, too. If the transatlantic and transpacific cables were also cut, the USA would be in a dire major pickle. If the USA or NATO intervenes in the Ukraine, such might happen, and there’s not a thing we could do about it.

    • That’s a fact … however, there is one thing ‘we’ can do about it … stop the arming and war talk about Ukraine. CAN YOU HEAR ME HANNITY??? George Soros stands with Ukraine, you know there is something wrong this picture. I am not a Russian lover, but the big picture about Ukraine is not being told truthfully by the lying media, You can count on that.
