(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Cassidy Hutchinson, the supposed “star witness” the Jan. 6 committee had brought in an effort to bring down President Donald Trump actually worked for him for a total of nine weeks after he left the White House.
Shouldn’t that, along with many other inconvenient facts about Hutchinson disqualify her as being the “smoking gun” that can prove Trump was somehow involved in helping to orchestrate or at least foster the atmosphere that spawned the riot at the Capitol?
You’d think so.
According to a report from Business Insider, “Hutchinson served as a ‘coordinator’ for Trump’s official, taxpayer-funded, post-presidential office from about January 20, 2021, to April 1, 2021, earning an annualized salary of $90,000, the General Services Administration documents state.”
The Western Journal also reported that Hutchinson, who worked as an aide to Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, gave testimony before the Jan. 6 committee, where she said that she was “disgusted” by President Trump tweeting while the Capitol riot was unfolding that Vice President Mike Pence did not possess the courage to vote against certifying the Electoral College vote.
“As an American, I was disgusted. It was unpatriotic. It was un-American,” Hutchinson stated during her testimony.
“We were watching the Capitol building get defaced over a lie. And it was something that was really hard in that moment to digest knowing what I’d been hearing down the hall in the conversations that were happening,” she continued.

Hutchinson also made the allegation while delivering her testimony that she was informed Trump lunged at a Secret Service agent, Bobby Engel, and attempted to grab the steering wheel of the vehicle taking him away from the rally he held on Jan. 6 back to the White House.
She then claimed he demanded to be taken to the Capitol.
“However, Engel and the SUV driver responded to her claims saying they were prepared to testify under oath what Hutchinson described never happened,” the Western Journal reported.
Trump, in a post made on TruthSocial, also denied the story was true saying, “Her Fake story that I tried to grab the steering wheel of the White House Limousine in order to steer it to the Capitol Building is ‘sick’ and fraudulent, very much like the Unselect Committee itself. Wouldn’t even have been possible to do such a ridiculous thing,” he wrote.

The president then went on to paint a picture of Hutchinson as being a disgruntled former employee.
“I hardly know who this person, Cassidy Hutchinson, is, other than I heard very negative things about her (a total phony and ‘leaker’), and when she requested to go with certain others of the team to Florida after my having served a full term in office, I personally turned her request down,” Trump said in his post.
“Why did she want to go with us if she felt we were so terrible? I understand that she was very upset and angry that I didn’t want her to go, or be a member of the team,” the former president claimed. “She is bad news!”
The folks at Business Insider then reported that while Hutchinson worked for Trump after the election, she did not do so in the state of Florida.
“Hutchinson did her work from Arlington, Virginia, across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C, and not Palm Beach, Florida,” the news outlet went on to say.
“A handful of other post-presidency staffers worked from Florida while Trump resided at his Mar-a-Lago resort after leaving the White House,” the report continued. “Leaked text messages showed that in February Hutchinson had described having to appear before the Jan. 6 committee as ‘bs.'”
At the end of the day, this whole effort by the left has several goals in mind, all of which are designed to help them achieve victories in every upcoming election, whether that’s the midterms this fall or the presidential election in 2024.
What they want this Jan. 6 select committee to do is to paint up all the supporters of President Donald Trump to be domestic terrorists, a people group that are racist, hateful, and violent. This will create fear of this group of individuals, further dividing them from the rest of America and make Americans fear them, making Trump supporters “other.”
This divide makes it impossible for us to join together and fight against future oppressors. This is why it is important to push back against the lies of the left with the truth. There is so much more at stake than folks tend to realize.
