(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – According to a new report from the folks over at The Western Journal, First Lady Jill Biden is supposedly hosting some kind of event for congressional spouses at the White House, which you’d probably think would be a non-political social event for the wives of lawmakers and husbands to visit the People’s House and get to rub elbows with the highest-serving political spouse in the country.
Seems like it should be something that’s fun, right?
Well, if you know progressives like Joe and Jill Biden, then you know that “fun” is not a word that is part of their vocabulary. It seems that such an idea goes against the very fabric of the nature of those on the left.
“Erika Donalds, wife to freshman Florida Congressman Byron Donalds, a pro-Trump, staunchly conservative Republican, tweeted a screenshot of the first lady’s COVID-19 guidelines for the event, and they’re even more arbitrary and discriminatory than you might expect,” The Western Journal reported.
“First Lady Jill Biden was kind enough to invite me & the other Congressional spouses to a reception at the White House,” Mrs. Donalds posted on Twitter. “I just have to take a COVID test, & as an unvaccinated person (with natural immunity) I won’t be allowed to eat, drink, or talk to anyone. Should be a blast!”

“The screenshot of the purported invitation email stipulated that ‘Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear a mask on the White House grounds. Guests who are not fully vaccinated must wear a mask at all times, including abstaining from eating or drinking, and maintain at least 6 feet distance from others while on the White House grounds,'” the report said.
This is totally nutty, of course, and it’s pretty difficult to not feel like it’s a petty jab taken at the spouses of those darn rebel rousers in Congress who have come down hard on the Biden administration for their vaccine mandates and masking protocols.
Six days ago, the White House announced its 2022 tour schedule and did not include such a strict masking requirement for random members of the general public to visit the Biden’s home.
“The White House will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation with guidance based on recommendations from the CDC, and other public health officials and medical experts, and reserves the right to adjust availability of the public tours as necessary to adhere to the latest health guidance,” the website went on to say.
“Within the 10 days prior to the public tour, anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, has had any COVID-19 symptoms, or been in close contact with someone confirmed or suspected to have COVID-19, should stay home,” it added. “Face masks will be available when entering the White House complex for those who choose to wear them.”
In other words, if you and your family are visiting the White House for a vacation or some sort of trip on Spring Break, you can leave the masks behind if they choose, their vaccine status notwithstanding, but unvaccinated political spouses have to put on their face diapers and make sure not to eat, drink, or get within 6 feet of another person if they haven’t taken their shots.
It’s pretty obvious that those who are unvaccinated are likely the spouses of those Joe Biden considers his harshest critics in Congress.
“What’s more, as Daily Wire reporter Mary Margaret Olohan sarcastically noted, these stringent requirements don’t even make sense, as so many of us have been observing for two years is often the case with COVID-19 reduction measures,” the report said.

By the way, we shouldn’t have to point out that vaccinated people can indeed spread the coronavirus. We’ve seen this happen plenty of times with high-profile, pro-vaccine public figures who have gotten the illness and even spread it to others.
“Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tested positive for COVID-19 on the very day that the massive Freedom Convoy rolled into Toronto to protest the requirement that truckers, who spend 90 percent of their time confined in the cab of a big rig, had to be vaccinated if they wanted to be allowed back into the country after crossing the border in the U.S,” The Western Journal said.
This is nothing more than an attempt by the first lady to shame the individuals in Congress who have not bowed the knee to their demands and gotten the coronavirus vaccine. While so many important world events are currently unfolding, which really should be the primary focus of the current administration, they still have time to be petty over this COVID nonsense.
