(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – The Biden regime is doing everything they can to ensure the US is a third-world developed country by the time the next presidential election rolls around.
If you’ve been on social media over the last two weeks then you’ve likely seen information circulating informing parents who rely on baby formula, that they can still get baby formula on Amazon Canada. Of course, they’d have to be pretty darn desperate to go that route; the shipping cost is outrageous.
Nonetheless. This is America. We’re supposed to be one of the most advanced countries in the entire world but we can’t even make enough baby formula. Huh? Sure doesn’t seem to make a whole lot of sense.
Why are we being forced to outsource baby formula from foreign countries? Why are they still able to make enough formula? Did the entire world not just go through the same pandemic?
America is sure looking pretty foolish right now and that’s by design.
Fox News and conservative radio host Mark Levin gave his thoughts on the fact that the US is an advanced country that can’t even make enough baby formula for its citizens during an appearance on Sean Hannity’s Fox News’ show last week.
Levin said voters were “seeing what [Democrat] promises are like when they are actually put into action,” noting that “Joe Biden is a one-man wrecking ball, and he’s taken his idiocy to our economy.”
“Why are they spending the way they are spending?” Levin asked. “They’re collapsing the economy with inflation.
“They were warned about it — and yet they tell us, the more they spend and the more debt you have, it actually fights inflation.”
Levin went on to note that “Joe Biden is, obviously, an economic illiterate, always has been.” Or he’s just doing exactly what he was installed to do.
He then said, regarding formula, “What kind of advanced country can’t produce enough baby formula? And he blames it on whom? The private sector.”
The Biden regime has, in fact, laid some of the blame for the baby formula shortage on Abbott Laboratories, which is the formula producer that was forced to shut down a manufacturing plant in Michigan that produces up to 25% of the nation’s baby formula, according to CNBC.
The plant was forced to shut down after bacteria was found in the product it was producing. The FDA has refused to allow it to reopen, of course.
While this is surely contributing to the problem, it most certainly is not the main reason for the formula shortages which were being reported before the plant was shut down in February.
On Jan. 12, The Wall Street Journal published an in-depth analysis of the growing crisis: “Baby formula has been hard to find in many parts of the U.S. for months, sending parents searching for Enfamil, Similac, Gerber and other brands.”
“Retailers and formula makers agree that out-of-stocks are a problem. They don’t agree on how severe it is and who is to blame. Chains like Walmart Inc. and CVS Health Corp. say the manufacturers are having supply issues; formula makers say retailers aren’t getting product to stores once it is delivered.”
Just like Putin didn’t cause gas prices to soar, Abbott Laboratories didn’t cause the baby formula shortage.
Levin put it bluntly, the shortage is the fault of “government regulations.” Just like every other crisis facing the US right now.
“The FDA shut down Abbott,” Levin said. “We weren’t importing formula from the European Union, which has stricter standards than we do. And, it’s the private sector’s fault?
“You’re seeing power moving from the private sector to the government,” he continued. “This guy is utterly incompetent.”
He then asked viewers to imagine what would have happened if Biden had been president during the “peak of” COVID-19 in 2020.
“We wouldn’t have had vaccines; we wouldn’t have had masks; we wouldn’t have had ventilators; we wouldn’t have respirators, we wouldn’t have had hospital beds; we wouldn’t have had anything,” Levin said. “He’d be busy blaming the Republicans for the virus.”
Biden is now attempting to play the hero by invoking the Defense Production Act, despite it being months later than he should have done it. He told a reporter that if his regime had “been better mind readers, I guess we could have” moved quicker on the baby formula shortage, “but we moved as quickly as the problem became apparent to us.”
Either they really aren’t paying attention and are that incompetent or they are intentionally causing one crisis after another. My money’s on the latter.
