‘STATE’S GOING TO S**T!’ Aaron Rodgers Blasts California’s COVID Closures That Destroyed Small Biz

(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – At this point in time, we’re all pretty well used to celebrities, both in the entertainment industry and the world of sports, coming out and sharing their political opinions. And they have every right to do that, just as the rest of us do. However, most of the time what comes out of their mouths is nothing more than leftist talking points without a drip of common sense anywhere to be found. Thankfully, not every individual who works in these fields is brain dead.

According to the Daily Mail, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers recently stated that all of the closures caused by the coronavirus pandemic back through 2020 and 2021 obliterated small businesses in towns all over the state of California. And he’s right on the money. Tyranny always leaves a wide path of destruction in its wake, and that’s a lesson the strategies used to handle COVID should have taught us well by now.

Many of the stay-at-home orders ended up forcing bars and restaurants, along with thousands of other businesses in different industries like hair salons and spas to shut their doors. And this is something that impacted Rodgers deeply, having been raised in a small California town.

‘I grew up in a small town, very little cases up in Chico, California, but all the small businesses? F***ing gone,’ Rodgers said with sorrow.

“Business capacity limits and other restrictions were in place from March 2020 until June 2021. The decisions crippled businesses across California with 40,000 estimated to have collapsed – the highest figure in any state across the nation,” the report said.

“Rodgers also spoke of his disapproval of AB 2098, a new bill heading to the desk of Governor Newsom that could see doctors disciplined for promoting COVID-19 misinformation. The law is controversial because the definitions of ‘misinformation’ and ‘disinformation’ are so broad,” the report continued.

The Green Bay quarterback then went on to explain that he doesn’t consider himself to be a conservative politically, going on to cite the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade as an example of where he breaks off from that particular set of ideology.

‘I think there’s a lot of people that believe that you should have your own decision-making on your own medical decisions,’ he stated during an interview with Maher.

‘My thing is I have an issue with the hypocrisy in society in general and I know you do as well, but abortion has been a hot topic, right? And especially after Roe v. Wade got overturned and sent back to the states, or whatever. I don’t believe the government should have any control over what we do with our bodies,’ Rodgers said.

Of course the government shouldn’t have a say over what we do with our bodies. However, an unborn baby is a unique human being, a life, with the child having a body of its own, which means that it’s wrong to deprive that human of the right to live by murdering it in the womb. Thus, abortion is evil and should not be legal.

‘As much as I might lean more pro-life, I don’t want the government to tell me I can’t smoke a cigar, I can’t have a drink of alcohol, I can’t choose my own medical decisions. And if I’m a woman, don’t f***ing tell me what to do. Like whether or not I agree with what you decide to do, who cares? And the government should not have a decision that infringes upon my own personal freedoms,’ he added.

Last August, Rodgers stated that he was “immunized” and did not wear a mask in settings that many of the super leftists would have deemed it appropriate to sport one.

“Rodgers also chose his words carefully when speaking about the vaccine at a training camp back in August 2021. Instead of saying he was ‘vaccinated,’ Rodgers would say he was ‘immunized,’ which some presumed to mean that he had received the injection,” the Daily Mail reported. “However, Rodgers may have meant that he had COVID-19 antibodies from a previous infection.”

Which, to be fair and truthful, provides far better protections from the coronavirus than the vaccine that is seemingly useless. And even though there is a mountain of data to confirm this to be true, the left refuses to believe it, proving that it’s totally cool to deny science as long as doing so fits your own ideological belief system and helps further the narratives being pushed in the media.

“Rodgers has maintained that he is not ‘anti-vax’ in general but that it wasn’t the right decision for him, adding how he believed he was in the ‘crosshairs of the woke mob right now,'” the report said. “As the podcast conversation moved onto a possible rematch between Donald Trump and Joe Biden in 2024, Maher suggested ‘the Democrats and the woke side are so much more obnoxious,’ but that the Republicans are actually more dangerous.'”

Of course, Rodgers wasn’t going to allow himself to be drawn out on the topic of who he would vote for in the next presidential election, but suggested Biden would be way too old to run at the age of 81.

‘I’m a rational thinker. I’m not on one side or the other,’ Rodgers remarked.

Honestly, Rodgers is a breath of fresh air, even if he does say and espouse certain positions that are disagreeable. He’s not afraid to speak his mind and believes everyone has that same right, whether they agree with him or not. It’s sad that we are all excited about something so elementary as this, but that’s how much damage has been done to free speech in our era.

  1. Well folks here we go my comments may very well get me kicked off this site, But i must post it anyway, The problem i have with ABORTION is the plain and simple fact that the unborn CHILD has NO OPINION as to whether it lives or dies, We can debate the rights for ABORTION from now until enternity but it will not alter the fact that ABORTION takes the life of another human being that has NO DECISION in the procedure. A procedure that is in a large portion of the time is very cruel and inhuman. I do not believe the Government at the FEDERAL or STATE level has any authority to guarantee a womanS right to an ABORTION BUT I ALSO BELIEVE THEY HAD NO RIGHT TO FORBID THE SAME, The simple truth is that ABORTION is a MORAL issue. We as a nation of free people are guaranteed certain rights in this country one of those rights is the freedom to life and liberty that ABORTED child is having its rights denied. Are there times when ABORTION is necessary to protect the life of the mother? i believe there are but those cases are few and far between. The issue of ABORTION should be left to the choice of the woman but i do not believe the Government has the right to guarantee that a child can be aborted simply because its not wanted. The recent decision by the SUPREME Court DID NOT BAN ABORTIONS as has been reported across the country It simply put that decision back in the authority of each state where it should have been all along. I will not condem a woman for getting an abortion thats her decision and one that simply cant be taken lightly.
I personally believe that unborn child has rights and should be protected. If a child is not wanted there are adoptions centers available to take that child and find it a home where it can be loved and cared for. Well i said my piece now i will wait for all the hate mail i will receive.
